During the hackathon, a team successfully crafted an analytical web application within a mere 24 hours. This application empowers users to monitor the operations of perinatal centers effectively. Through comprehensive infrastructure analysis, it seeks to highlight gaps in perinatal center coverage across Russia, identifying areas where these facilities are lacking. Furthermore, the application conducts demographic assessments and evaluates the condition of existing centers, with the overarching goal of enhancing the quality of care available to expectant mothers nationwide.
There are plans to assign specific individuals the responsibility of managing records for perinatal centers, with mandatory registration being implemented for them.
The map displays the coverage area of each perinatal center. The color indicates the response time of emergency services to a given area and the frequency of dispatches. For analytical purposes, we have implemented the ability to add a new center to the map and observe how it affects the current situation. Additionally, for ease of use, we have included the option to limit the working area and disable the coverage zones of the centers.
Upon selecting a particular center, users are presented with detailed statistics regarding mortality rates, equipment wear, and transportation accessibility.
To streamline the application's usability, mini-rankings have been incorporated into the center list, assessing factors such as equipment wear, staff availability, bed capacity, mortality rates, and the quality of the vehicle fleet. This feature enables the prompt identification of problematic centers.
